HELOC or home equity loan?
A HELOC generally lets you draw funds during a draw period. A home equity loan generally provides a lump sum. HELOC rates are often variable; home equity loans often have fixed rates. Products and terms vary by lender.
What happens after the draw period?
Ask how repayment works, whether payments can increase and how a variable rate changes your costs. Compare APR, fees, closing costs and any early-closure charges—not just an advertised rate.
Your home secures the debt
Borrowing against equity adds debt; it does not eliminate it. Missed payments can put your home at risk. Lenders determine borrowing limits after reviewing liens, property value and their requirements.
Does this matching form affect my credit?
EquiBridgeFi does not pull credit for this form. A lender may separately request your authorization if you later apply. Ask whether that check is a hard or soft inquiry.
How much can I borrow against my home?
Home equity is not the same as available credit. Lenders set limits based on property value, existing liens and their requirements. EquiBridgeFi does not determine eligibility or offer a loan.
Is a HELOC always cheaper than other borrowing?
No. Compare APR, fees, rate changes, repayment terms and the risk of securing debt with your home. No savings or product availability is guaranteed.
How long does getting a HELOC take?
Timing depends on the lender, property review and your application. EquiBridgeFi cannot promise a response or closing date.
Payment never affects matching or order. No loan approval, financing, rate or savings guaranteed.
